The Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society (GRES) celebrates its 55th birthday in 2025, having started in 1970. While the Society has held model railway exhibitions in and around Gravesend from that time, there have been a few gaps, the last being for the pandemic in 2020. So, this year we celebrate 50 years of model railway exhibitions.
To mark this occasion, GRES commissioned 100 Southern-green liveried wagons in OO Gauge branded with the GRES name. Each wagon includes an individually numbered certificate with a brief history about our exhibitions.
