Hello Folks

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the glorious sunshine. For any Stars Wars fans, may the fourth be with you…!

Here’s another reminder not to forget that we have a new and improved Facebook group, so may I ask you to join and tell all your friends and family: https://www.facebook.com/people/GRES-Gravesend-Railway-Enthusiasts-Society/61552508150631/

We have a GRES takeover for our scheduled GRES meetings coming up in May, as follows:

Tuesday 6th – At last, it’s me leading the meeting with my long-promised PEP talk. I’m not going to tell you that it will be an interesting or exciting evening, as modesty forbids, but it does include a few stories and will be delivered in my own personal way! So, please join me at our usual venue of the Emmanuel Church Hall, 55 Windmill Street, Gravesend (from 7.45pm).

Thursday 22nd – Bob Poole will be informing us about the Midland & Great Northern Railway, delivered in his usual style that has attention to detail. This will take place at our usual venue of the Emmanuel Church Hall, 55 Windmill Street, Gravesend (from 7.45pm).

For those who like their model railway exhibitions, please note:

Saturday 10thBirchington Model Railway Exhibition, The Centre, Alpha Road, Birchington, CT7 9EG (10am – 4pm). Adults – £5, Accompanied Under 16s – free.
