DESCRIPTION:The Erith Model Railway Society’s January Exhibition\, one of South East England’s largest shows\, will be returning to the Harris Garrard Academy. SUMMARY:Tonbridge Model Railway Exhibition 2026
DESCRIPTION:2026 Exhibition\n\n\nThe club runs an annual exhibition every year on a Saturday in mid February at the local leisure centre. It’s one of the largest one-day model railway shows in the area and known for the quality and variety of the exhibits showing a range of different gauges\, scales and prototypes. We also endeavour to have a range of interesting sales stands from traditional model shops to specialist traders and societies.  \n​​ \nIf you want to contact our exhibition manager regarding our exhibitions or invites for club layouts to others please use the details in the ‘contact us‘ section of this website or in the footer below.  \n​ \nOur next exhibition will be on \n​ \nSaturday 21st February 2026 \nbetween 10am and 5pm \nat the Angel Centre in \nTonbridge. \n​​ \nMore details on who’s attending and how to find the venue are shown in the sections below.   \n​ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere\n\n\nThe Angel Centre\, Tonbridge\, Kent\, TN9 1SF \nThe Angel Centre is conveniently located in the centre of Tonbridge\, a 5 minute walk from Tonbridge railway station with frequent trains to and from London\, Sevenoaks\, Redhill\, Ashford\, and Tunbridge Wells\, and a short walk from the High Street bus stops. In addition\, the venue is surrounded by large car parks (pay and display). \nMost of the building is wheel chair accessible with a lift between floors. Access to the exhibition is via the main entrance. There will be light refreshments available within the centre and the nearby high street has a range of coffee shops and restaurants and various takeaway food outlets..  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow much\n\n\nCost: ​Adults £8\, Under 16 free \nPayment by cash or card \n​‘Hop ups’ to allow children to see some exhibits will be available (subject demand) for a small deposit (cash only) from the admissions desk. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat will be there\n\n\nThis is a list of those layouts\, traders and other stands that have been invited and may change as a result of elements out side of our control. After a period of uncertainty\, we’re delighted to confirm that the event now has a venue secured and planning is well underway. \nThis year’s exhibition will be a one‑day show\, offering a compact but high‑quality selection of model railway layouts\, traders\, and demonstrations. \n\n\nLocation and opening times\nSaturday 24th October 2026: 10:00 to 16:30. \nPlease note the change of venue from previous exhibtions:  \n📍 St George’s Church Hall\, Church Street\, Gravesend\, Kent\, DA11 0DJ \nWhat3Words: ///sprint.league.palm \nA More Intimate Exhibition for 2026\nFor this year only\, the exhibition will be held in a smaller hall than our traditional venue\, giving us the opportunity to curate a focused and varied display of layouts. We’re particularly keen to feature: \n\n\n\nSmall and medium‑sized layouts\nPortable or modular layouts\nCreative or unusual modelling projects\n\n\n\n\nDemonstrations and hands‑on activities\n\nWhether you’re a regular visitor or new to GRES\, you can expect a friendly\, welcoming show with plenty to enjoy. \n\nOutdoor Courtyard Displays\nAlongside the main hall\, we also have access to a courtyard area\, ideal for: \n\nGarden railway exhibits\nOutdoor‑friendly layouts\nLive demonstrations\nInteractive displays\n\nThis additional space allows us to broaden the range of layouts on show and offer something a little different for visitors. \n\nExhibitors Wanted – Indoor & Outdoor\nWe are actively seeking smaller layouts to help us make the most of the available space.
