GRES: membership form

Membership of the Society costs £25.00 a year.

For your subscription you get:
– 20 meetings per year with guest speakers and social events.
– Ten issues per year of our magazine “GRES Journal*
– Free entry to the GRES Model Railway Exhibition
– Visits to places of Railway Interest*
– Annual coach outing*
– Annual Christmas/New Year Travelcard dav out*
– Access to the GRES railway modelling group*

* at small additional cost.

Past meetings have included the following topics:
– Railway curiosities
– SER Main line from Charing Cross to Dover
– Disused London Underground Stations
- How the railways changed our lives

Previous events have included:
– A Travelcard day out
– Participation in the Prats Bottom (Orpington) Model Railway Exhibition
– Coach Outing to the Foxley Railway Museum (the late Bill McAlpine collection)

Interested in railway modelling? As well as your annual GRES membership, you can join our Modelling Club for an additional £6 per month. Modelling Club members meet regularly in Longfield and can take part in exhibitions, events and layout-building activities throughout the year.
