Overview

Fawcett Street is a highly detailed OO gauge (4mm/ft) shunting layout designed to deliver maximum operational interest within a very small footprint. Built by Steve Rogers and friends, the layout has appeared at numerous exhibitions and is now part of the GRES collection. It is not based on a specific real‑world location; instead, it recreates the gritty, atmospheric feel of industrial sidings commonly found in British towns during the 1960s.

After nine years of operation, the layout was sold on in August 2017, and now finds a new home with GRES.
